Happy back Yoga  
Our signature class developed and taught by licensed physical therapists. This class is designed to promote optimal back health and alignment using specific Purna Yoga sequences including the Hip Series, Morning Series, Low Back Series and the Reversing the Aging of the Spine Series using the YOGA WALL. Each class is unique and emphasizes poses that create SPACE in the spine and relieves tension in the upper and lower back and neck. This class is safe for any one with back pain, disc herniations, disc degeneration , scoliosis and post operative conditions.

Purna Yoga  
Purna means "complete" and these classes offer a well rounded, alignment based approach including asana (postures), pranayama (breath work), meditation and philosophy. Level I - II explores the foundational practices and introduces Purna Yoga Sequences. Level II- III is for intermediate students with 6 months or more experience. More challenging postures are introduced as well as subtle instructions.

Pilates Mat  
This class explores the therapeutic benefits of Pilates with a special emphasis on back health and correct alignment.  Core strength is essential to supporting a healthy spine and correcting faulty movement patterns.  Pilates is one of the best ways to get to know your "core" and build strength and stability from the inside out.

Yoga for Women  
This class is specifically designed to support women in their journey through all stages of life.  Postures and sequences are taught that help to reduce stress and balance out the endocrine system for more internal strength and clarity as we navigate through life changes.  Additional benefits of this class include increased fertility and decreased symptoms associated with PMS and menopause.

Prenatal Yoga  
A one hour class designed to support women throughout their pregnancy.  The YOGA WALL system is used to lenghten the spine and relieve any back or neck tension.  Emphasizes postures to open the hips, strengthen the pelvic floor , open the chest and  prepare for labor and delivery.

Postnatal Yoga  
Recovering from childbirth is a long process that requires patience and support.  This specialized class is for moms and babies.  In a playful way, you will explore ways to do yoga with your baby as well as rebuild strength in the abdominals and pelvic floor.  There is a strong emphasis on back health as well.

Restorative Yoga  
This class is designed to help relax the nervous system and bring you more energy and vitality.  In an ever increasingly busy world, there is little time to allow the body and mind to fully rest with conscious awareness.  You will emerge from this class with a renewed sense of self and more ease and freedom in the body.
Restorative Yoga - Rachel and Other Instructor
Vinyasa/Anusara-inspired Flow  

Anusara ~ to flow with grace & Vinyasa ~ breath in movement or breath in
moment. In these all levels classes (*experience listed below) students
are empowered to experience Prana – the universal source of breath as
the navigating source of yoga, life. Practitioners learn classical and
innovative approaches to Anusara Yoga, Vinyasa Flow Yoga,
Krishnamancharya’s teachings, Pranayama, Ayurveda, and Kirtan (mantra chant).

*Please have a strong foundational knowledge of Ujjayi breath, the asanas
that compose Surya Namaskar’s, and a foundational knowledge of alignment.

Deeping Your Practice  
Come deepen your entire understanding and life experience of Yoga.
Yoga practitioners will enter into the next layer of the yoga practice
by beginning to really understand how our energy is the primary component
that molds our physical consciousness.

This class will include Pranayama techniques, mantras, seated meditation,
and an opportunity to learn Philosophy. The Yoga Sutras and many of the
various texts and metaphysical topics of the Yoga path will be discussed.

No pranayama or meditation experience is required. A regular asana
practice is recommended.
